This is a Corporate Accounting Position
Our client is a 1500 person manufacturing company, looking to add an Accountant to their team, with a successful track record of growth for the past 20 years. This is a great opportunity for the candidate to work closely with the company management (CFO, controller, President and others) on Finance & Accountingapache data.
Job Description - Accountant
- The Accountant will support the accounting team with financial operations, including general ledger, journal entries and preparation of financial reports.
- Assist with budget planning, cost tracking, and performance analysis across multiple departments within the manufacturing environment.
- Prepare and post journal entries; reconcile and maintain general ledger accounts.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Support budget planning and track financial data for various departments.
- Perform financial analysis, including budget-to-actual, cost, and variance analysis.
- Compile and present financial data using Microsoft Excel, including charts and reports for management review.
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
Desired Skills - Accountant:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- Recent graduates are encouraged to apply – internships are valued, co‑op or key projects in accounting/finance are a plus.
- 0–5 years of work experience in accounting, financial analysis, or related business roles.
- Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, charts, trend analysis, formulas).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Eagernessferences avoid pitfalls.
