We are looking for an ACUCOBOL Developer
. This position will be full‑time and Hybrid
.

• Clear understanding of business requirements.
• Functional testing with focus on Analytical thinking.
• Expert in test script preparation.
• Good knowledge of Automation tools and Understanding of programming language.
• Good knowledge with Agile, Dev Ops and Continuous delivery.
• Maintain good communication and interaction with stakeholders.
• Able to learn new technologies.
• Able to access and mitigate risks.
• Actively collaborates with team and stakeholders.

• Proven hands‑on experience with ACUCOBOL / ACUCOBOL‑GT development.
• Strong understanding of COBOL programming constructs.
• Experience with ACUCOBOL runtime environments, ACUCOBOL screen section/UI, Indexed files, sequential files, file handling and ACUCOBOL debugging tools.
• Knowledge of integrating ACUCOBOL with databases (e.g., SQL, ISAM).
• Experience working in UNIX/Linux or Windows environments.
• Ability to analyze complex legacy systems and refactor code.
• Familiarity with version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).
• Strong problem‑solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation abilities.

• Experience migrating ACUCOBOL applications to Micro Focus COBOL, .NET ,Cloud platforms.
• Understanding of REST/SOAP APIs and integration patterns.
• Exposure to ERP, financial, or operations systems.
• Experience with modernization tools or frameworks.

• Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationery most of the time with occasional need to move around the office to attend meetings, etc.
• Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor.
