Position Overview
dormakaba is seeking a Technical Support Representative I based remotely in the continental US. The Technical Support Representative I is responsible for providing technical support to dormakaba customers for their software and for their hotel door locking system. This is done by performing a diagnosis while guiding users step by step towards solutions. This person is also responsible for issuing authorization for product returns.
HIRING SALARY RANGE:
Base Hourly Salary $20 - $24 (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.) Please visit our career site for more information on benefits.
- Answer incoming calls and create Salesforce case tickets
- Identify hardware and software issues by troubleshooting symptoms
- Identify and escalate priority issues
- Accurately enter customer queries into the company’s database
- Issue RMAs (Return Material Authorizations) for product repair and evaluation
- 2+ years’ experience in technical support/troubleshooting
- Experience in Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, VPN, Visio, Windows networks using TCP/IP
- Relevant experience in system level testing, servers, and software application testing
- Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
- College Degree or equivalent industry experience in information technology, or another relevant field
