Reporting / Data Business Analyst (M/F/D)

We are looking for a Reporting / Data Business Analyst to act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams in delivering reporting and analytics solutions.

This role supports the modernization of a BI architecture and focuses on translating business needs into clear functional requirements.
Not a developer or data migration engineer role
, but a business-oriented analytics position. You will collaborate with business users and IT teams to define reporting needs and support testing and deployment. This role is ideal for someone with a strong business mindset combined with data and reporting knowledge
, capable of translating operational needs into analytical solutions.

• Act as the interface between business users and technical teams for reporting and analytics initiatives.
• Understand and document business reporting requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Work with stakeholders to prepare data examples, mock-ups, and reporting scenarios for development and validation.
• Support the testing phases (functional and user testing) and ensure business scenarios are properly validated.
• Answer functional or data-related questions from technical teams during development and testing.
• Assist business users during deployment, production validation, and post-go-live support

• Help troubleshoot issues during stabilization phases and coordinate resolution with technical teams.

• Around 5+ years of experience as a Data Business Analyst / Reporting Analyst
• Strong understanding of business processes and stakeholder management
• Ability to act as a functional bridge between business users and technical teams
• SAP knowledge
• Ability to read SQL queries and understand data models (no coding required)
• Advanced Power BI skills (focus on analysis and reporting, not development)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Full remote work

• Experience with Databricks or similar data platforms
• Experience in modern data/BI architectures
