We are looking for an experienced Dev Ops Tech Lead who combines strategic thinking with hands‑on technical leadership. You understand how Dev Ops and infrastructure decisions impact business outcomes, stay calm and decisive in critical situations, and take full ownership of systems and results. You enjoy challenging the status quo, mentoring others, and building sustainable, scalable platforms that enable teams to deliver with confidence.
Responsibilities- Define and evolve the Dev Ops architecture across Azure, on‑prem, and Kubernetes environments.
- Act as technical authority for CI/CD, infrastructure, and platform operations, setting standards and best practices.
- Translate business needs into technical roadmaps, priorities, and long‑term improvement initiatives.
- Lead and coordinate incident response for critical production issues and drive post‑incident improvements.
- Proactively identify architectural risks and inefficiencies and drive modernization and simplification.
- Mentor and coach engineers, fostering ownership, autonomy, and high technical standards.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and management to enable fast, safe, and reliable delivery.
- 10+ years of experience in Dev Ops / Platform Engineering, including ownership of complex, business‑critical systems.
- Proven experience as a technical lead, architect, or principal engineer.
- Strong expertise in hybrid environments (Azure & on‑prem), Kubernetes (AKS), and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Open Tofu).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD architectures, release strategies, and multi‑environment setups.
- Experience leading incidents, performing root‑cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.
- Strong communication skills across technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Ability to balance short‑term operational demands with long‑term architectural vision.
- Advanced scripting and automation skills (Bash/Shell, Python).
- Fluent in English (German is a plus).
- Experience with hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing or complex system integration.
- Exposure to security, compliance, or regulated environments.
