The Sr. Solution Architect, D&T, SAP BW possesses in-depth knowledge and experience to work autonomously. The position is responsible for SAP BW development, enhancements, with expertise in production support. Experience in modeling, extraction, reporting pertaining to SAP BW 7.5 on HANA is required.

This role requires hands‑on experience in SAP BW, HANA CDS Views, data warehouse design, extraction, and reporting.

• Act as an expert in leading, designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise BI dashboards and reports.
• Work experience in enhancements and supporting the enterprise BW, expertise in HANA‑BW data modelling using Eclipse Tool.
• Work with users and functional teams to gather and document reporting requirements, and to use underlying data sources/Data warehouses to meet business requirements.
• Act as an expert in daily production support activities pertaining to SAP BW and CDS Views.
• Worked on production support data load issues, bugs, tickets from business and enhancements.
• Expertise in setup table fill concept, extraction from source systems like S4 HANA, ECC, APO.
• Worked extensively on extraction from source systems such as S4, APO, HR, flat file, etc. Expertise in LO cockpit extractions, flat file extractions and generic extractions. Knowledge of using SAP delivered information structures and user‑defined information structures for extracting data from different logistic information systems.
• Liaise with SAP functional teams to work on solutioning all gaps, enhancements, or bug fixes.
• Expertise in SAP BI/BW data‑warehouse and development of BW objects, which includes prototyping and technical specifications.
• Conduct training programs and knowledge‑transfer sessions for junior developers as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bridging the gap between business necessities and technical considerations, negotiating solutions, and encouraging creativity when feasible.
• Demonstrating keen attention to detail and a commitment to documenting processes for future reference and benefit.
• Ensuring best practice is used and solutions are standardized and transferable.

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Digitalisation or similar discipline preferred.

• 8 years of relevant experience.

• Expertise in SAP BI/BW data‑warehouse.
• Development of BI/BW objects, which includes prototyping and technical specifications.
• Modeling of custom info objects, info object maintenance, data sources, info sources, DTPs, info packages, PSA, advanced DSO objects, DSO objects, info cubes, data marts, info providers, multi‑providers, aggregates, APDs.
• Worked extensively on LO cockpit extractions, flat file extractions, and generic extractions. Knowledge of using SAP delivered information structures and user‑defined information structures for extracting data from different logistic information systems.
• Expertise in BW advanced data modelling using Eclipse Tool.
