Project Manager, IT Project Manager, IT Consultant

We are seeking a results-driven Project Manager with PMP certification and proven experience leading enterprise initiatives. This role will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of cross-functional technology projects that optimize asset lifecycle management, improve compliance, and enhance operational efficiency.

• Lead full project lifecycle delivery (initiation through closeout) for Service Now, SAM, and HAM initiatives.
• Develop and manage project plans, timelines, budgets, risk logs, and status reporting.
• Drive Service Now implementations and enhancements related to IT Asset Management (ITAM), SAM Pro, and HAM Pro modules.
• Partner with IT, procurement, finance, compliance, and operations teams to align asset governance processes.
• Oversee software license compliance initiatives, audit preparedness, and optimization strategies.
• Manage hardware lifecycle processes including procurement, deployment, tracking, refresh, and disposal.
• Facilitate requirements gathering sessions and translate business needs into actionable project deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate risks related to licensing exposure, asset inventory gaps, and integration challenges.
• Ensure integration between Service Now and external systems (CMDB, procurement platforms, ERP systems).
• Provide executive-level reporting and KPI dashboards on asset utilization, compliance posture, and cost savings.
• Lead vendor coordination and third-party engagements as needed.
• Champion process standardization and continuous improvement initiatives.

• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required.
• 5+ years of experience managing enterprise IT or IT Asset Management projects.
• Hands-on experience with Service Now implementations (ITAM, SAM, HAM preferred).
• Demonstrated experience with:
• Software Asset Management (license tracking, true-ups, audits)
• Hardware Asset Management (lifecycle management, inventory controls)
• Strong understanding of ITIL-based service management frameworks.
• Experience managing cross-functional and geographically distributed teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Service Now PPM).
• Excellent stakeholder communication and executive presentation skills.
• Strong risk management and governance background.

• Service Now certifications (e.g., Certified System Administrator, ITAM Implementation Specialist).
• Experience with SAM Pro and HAM Pro modules.
• Experience supporting internal or external software license audits (Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, etc.).
• Background in financial forecasting and cost optimization initiatives.
• Experience in highly regulated environments (SOX, FedRAMP, HIPAA, etc.).
