Our Cloud Platform team designs, builds, and optimizes Akamai's global network platforms. Within this group, the Global Infrastructure Delivery Management team partners across functions to deliver infrastructure reliably and at scale, driving operational excellence through standardized processes, end-to-end coordination, transparent reporting, and shared accountability.

We're looking for an Infrastructure Delivery Manager who is passionate about driving efficiency, clarity, and measurable results in a fast-moving environment. In this role, you'll lead infrastructure deployment projects from initial scope to final delivery, working across engineering, operations, and business teams.

As an Infrastructure Delivery Manager (PM), you will be responsible for:

• Capturing high level technical project requirements from internal stakeholders

• Collaborating with a cross-functional team to create technical solutions and support the deployment of the project

• Building and maintaining project schedules, providing status updates to key stakeholders, and guiding projects to completion

• Identifying, assessing, tracking, and mitigating issues or risks and anticipating bottlenecks

• Balancing business priorities with technical constraints by aligning resources, deadlines, and scope based on stakeholder input

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

• Have a Bachelor's degree and 5 to 10 years of solid experience in a network engineering environment

• Demonstrate a background in technical project management, with the ability to drive projects from planning through execution.

• Communicate clearly and effectively, translating complex technical concepts into language that's easy for various stakeholders to understand.

• Identify potential risks and develop contingency plans to keep projects on track.

• Promote a collaborative, team-first culture by using interpersonal skills to influence others, shared accountability, and align efforts with business goals.
