Application Developer

This role involves completing the development of an innovative web application designed to assist users in creating and managing character and color bibles, as well as generating AI-powered sketches. The project is built with Next.js and Supabase, and the backend and database migrations for the new AI Sketch Studio and enhanced Color Bible features are already in place. The successful candidate will take the exported Rocket.new

project, set it up locally, and finish the front-end implementation to ensure seamless end-to-end functionality. Key objectives include exposing the AI Sketch Studio tab, building its user interface using existing APIs, saving and displaying AI-generated sketches, and refining the Color Bible to ensure all modes are fully integrated. Additional tasks include improving navigation, user experience, and adding basic error and loading states.

Optionally, setting up smoke tests for main flows is encouraged. Deliverables will include a Git Hub repository with the updated codebase, a comprehensive README, and a Loom walkthrough video demonstrating the completed features.

• Set up the exported Rocket.new Next.js/Supabase project locally and ensure all dependencies are installed
• Complete the front-end wiring for the AI Sketch Studio tab, utilizing existing backend APIs for DALL‑E 3 line‑art generation
• Implement UI components to save and display AI‑generated sketches within the application
• Enhance the Color Bible feature, ensuring all modes are accessible and integrated with the current project structure
• Refine navigation and user experience, including adding error and loading states for key flows
• Optionally, create smoke tests to validate main user journeys
• Prepare a Git Hub repository with the updated code and a detailed README for setup and usage
• Record a Loom walkthrough video demonstrating the main features and user flows

• Proficiency in Next.js and React for front-end development
• Experience with Supabase for backend integration and database management
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integrating third‑party AI services (e.g., DALL‑E

• Strong UI/UX skills, with attention to navigation, usability, and error handling
• Ability to work with exported projects and set up local development environments
• Experience with Git Hub for version control and documentation
• Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver clear walkthroughs (video and written)
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently to complete project deliverables
