The JD Edwards Business Analyst (24 months) will be part of the Global JD Edwards implementation and support team at JBT Marel. JD Edwards is the ERP solution for the diversified food and health division, as well as the APAC region within JBT Marel. This role will participate in both new implementations and also provide heavy support for live systems. The business analyst will act as the liaison between the business and IT, analyze business processes, determine and document system requirements, configure new JD Edwards functionality, test functionality with business users, deploy to production, assist users with support matters, troubleshoot issues, and may lead small projects.

• Gather business requirements and then research, design, develop and implement JDE ERP operational solutions.
• Work with application development staff to coordinate the development/changes of functions.
• Lead design sessions and prototype new solutions to enhance business processes, operations, and information flow.
• Work with users to prioritize requests.
• Identify and document process and functional requirements and system specifications.
• Coordinate implementation.
• Work with key users to investigate continuous improvement solutions and recommend a pipeline of opportunities.
• Provide training and support to end users to improve usage and functional processing.
• Encourage system users to explore new ways to use the system to simplify tasks and improve business performance.
• Maintain skill levels consistent with current technologies as the business system changes through normal release/upgrade.
• Help users identify and resolve system issues.
• Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley processes and documentation.
• Other assigned duties as required.

• University degree in Business, Computer Science, or another relevant degree.

• Eight years of practical functional experience with JD Edwards software in manufacturing, distribution, and finance functions.
• Relevant experience coordinating application development, support, training, and implementation.
• Strong knowledge of system troubleshooting best practices and methodologies.
• Analytical thinking; ability to break down problems or situations into component parts, identify implications, time frames, and sequences.
• Attention to detail; assurance of accuracy, clarity, and quality of work.
• Willingness to meet internal client needs by pursuing improved courses of action.
• Broad knowledge of manufacturing, distribution, and accounting business processes.
• Microsoft SQL knowledge.
• Web and Windows environment knowledge.
• Report writing.
• Advanced problem solving.
• Project management.
• Solid communication skills.
• Experience in process documentation.

24‑month position. Some evening and weekend work may be required to meet deadlines. Travel, including international, may be required up to 80%.
