We are looking for a Trainee Corporate Procurement & AI Innovation to join our Group for 6 months. During your time with us, you will also have the opportunity to write your bachelor’s or master’s thesis.

Endress+Hauser Group Services AG is our corporate entity based in Reinach (BL), Switzerland. We bring together central expertise—procurement, IT, finance, and more—to support the entire Endress+Hauser Group and enable scalable, industry-leading solutions.

How are chatbots and generative AI reshaping the world of procurement? You’re the one who will find out! We’re looking for a motivated student who likes connecting theory with real-world application. You will explore how AI solutions—from intelligent knowledge systems to automated assistant tools—can boost our efficiency. Your mission: identify real use cases, design concepts, and bring the first prototypes to life.

You will:

• Analyze our operational procurement processes and identify potential for automation and AI.
• Evaluate modern AI tools (e.g., LLMs, chatbots, RAG systems) and assess their practical value in our environment.
• Develop and test concepts for automated responses to internal/external inquiries and for locating internal expert knowledge.
• Document your findings and derive clear recommendations for our digital procurement strategy.

• Are studying Business Information Systems, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or a comparable field.
• Have a passion for procurement, process optimization, and modern AI technologies.
• Think analytically, work in a structured way, and are comfortable diving into new software tools.
• Are independent, proactive, and enjoy collaborating in interdisciplinary teams.
