Senior Network Engineer

• Design, implement, and support core, aggregation, and access IP network infrastructure
• Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot routing and switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS as applicable)
• Ensure network performance, reliability, scalability, and high availability across the ISP footprint
• Lead network upgrades, expansions, and technology refresh initiatives
• Monitor and resolve complex network issues, providing Tier III escalation support
• Collaborate with NOC, engineering, and operations teams to improve network stability and processes
• Develop and maintain network documentation, standards, and best practices
• Evaluate new technologies, vendors, and architectures to support network growth
• Participate in capacity planning and long-term network strategy

• 5+ years of network engineering experience in an ISP, telecom, or service provider environment
• Strong hands‑on experience with IP routing and switching in production networks
• Deep knowledge of routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF (MPLS a plus)
• Experience supporting and troubleshooting large‑scale, high‑availability networks
• Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable network infrastructure
• Familiarity with network monitoring, performance analysis, and fault management tools
• Experience working in a 24/7 operational environment and handling escalations
• Strong documentation, communication, and cross‑team collaboration skills
