Lead Engineer Design

This role is one of the senior members in the Design team for Graver Technologies. The role is to execute the engineering activities such as detailed design, design calculations, Tolerance stack ups, manufacturing drawings, implement new methods, designs and products. The selected candidate will be responsible for generation and quality of deliverables and for managing time and cost of all the projects executed.

Role typically requires between 6 and 8 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities / Functions:
• Should be from Static Equipment Design background.
• Independently work on the design and development of new products, overseeing all aspects of the design process from concept generation to final delivery.
• Utilize advanced engineering principles and tools to create innovative and optimized product designs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration of design solutions.
• Work independently with minimum interruption of Senior Engineers.

Required Qualifications:

(Education, Technical Skills/Knowledge)
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical major.
• Experience in Mechanical product design at system or sub-system level in the Water treatment equipment industry
• Solid Works software experience is a must. Mandatory to have hands on experience in 3D modeling, detail drawing preparation using Solid Works software.
• Mandatory to have hands on experience in GD&T, Tolerance stack up and Concept Selection Metrics.
• Excellent understanding of materials, processes and finishing operations.
• Exposure to the manufacturing environment.
• Exposure to ASME Code (Section VIII, Division-1) Calculations is added advantage.
• Exposure to PV Elite/Codeware Compress Calculations is added advantage.
• Exposure to pressure vessel, storage tanks, skid fabrications, piping, valves, pumps used in water treatment equipment is added advantage.
• Good to have experience in prototype testing, and analysis to validate design performance and functionality.
