MissionThe Project Leader R&D will be responsible for leading complex technology development projects within a multidisciplinary research and engineering environment. The role focuses on coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring projects progress efficiently, and maintaining alignment with technical objectives, timelines, and budget targets.
Working within a matrix organization, the Project Leader will drive innovation initiatives from concept to execution, proactively managing risks, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring effective communication across teams involved in the development of advanced technology solutions.
Responsibilities Project Planning and Coordination- Lead R&D projects from initiation through execution, ensuring structured planning and clear project objectives.
- Coordinate activities across multidisciplinary teams involved in technology development and engineering.
- Ensure project deliverables progress according to defined milestones and development plans.
- Monitor project performance against defined KPIs, including timelines, quality objectives, and budget targets.
- Ensure project execution remains aligned with strategic goals and technical requirements.
- Maintain visibility of project status and communicate progress to relevant stakeholders.
- Identify potential risks early and implement mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders across departments in a matrix organizational structure.
- Facilitate collaboration and decision-making across technical and operational teams.
- Structure and communicate complex technical information clearly to project teams and stakeholders.
- Support the project team by ensuring alignment on priorities, deliverables, and responsibilities.
- Create clarity in project execution through structured communication and reporting.
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline such as Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Approximately 2–3 years of experience in project-related roles within technical or engineering environments.
- Strong ability to coordinate complex technical projects within cross-functional teams.
- Structured and proactive approach to problem solving and project execution.
- Ability to work effectively within matrix organizations involving multiple stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to clearly explain complex technical topics.
- Experience working within R&D or technology development environments.
- Exposure to semiconductor, thin film technology, or advanced engineering industries.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary engineering projects.
- Interest in working in international and highly innovative technology environments.
