Seeking a Controls Engineer to support automation and control systems within a pharmaceutical/biopharmaceutical/Medical device manufacturing environment. The role involves programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining PLC/SCADA systems while ensuring compliance with cGMP and regulatory requirements.
Required Experience:
- 3+ years of Controls/Automation experience in Med/Pharma/Biotech manufacturing
- Hands‑on experience with Allen‑Bradley Control Logix/Compact Logix or Siemens PLCs
- SCADA/HMI development and troubleshooting (Factory Talk, Wonderware, or similar)
- Experience with GMP‑regulated environments (21 CFR Part 11)
- Commissioning & Qualification support (IQ/OQ) for automated systems
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI/SCADA systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Support commissioning, startup, and validation activities (IQ/OQ) for process equipment.
- Ensure automation systems comply with cGMP and 21 CFR Part 11 requirements.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Validation, and Quality teams to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain system documentation including functional specifications, test protocols, and SOPs.
- Provide on‑floor support during production and implement continuous improvements to control systems.
