Technical Modeler

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will get opportunity to work on a variety of structural engineering projects in India and US, including residential high rises, commercial development, aviation facilities, sports facilities, healthcare buildings, and hotels.

Responsibilities will include working with a team of engineers and modelers to deliver modeling and drafting/detailing work. The work shall be shared by the project managers and engineers for projects based in Unites States and/or India. Our projects range vastly in scale, detail, and complexity, and this position requires being able to work on multiple projects at a time with engineers and modelers from multiple geographic locations.

Position responsibilities and requirements will include:

• 3D Model development (required LOD) in Autodesk Revit structure, model maintenance, and ownership
• Developing high quality Drawings with the required plan-section-details, picking up drawing markups etc.
• Use of inhouse developed plugins and tools for productivity enhancement
• Learns and implements latest BIM-related best practices, firm standards, industry learnings and methods

• Diploma in civil engineering or bachelor’s degree in engineering
• 4 to 8 years of relevant work experience
• Extensive knowledge and experience in use of Revit Structure and AutoCAD required; knowledge and experience in Rhinoceros/ grasshopper, including parametric modeling and visual programming is a plus
• Candidate must be proactive, have strong organizational skill, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and be client-service oriented.
• Knowledge and understanding of U.S. drafting standards a plus.

Work experience on India and US projects would be preferred.
