Staff Manufacturing Engineer – NPI (Medical Device)
We are seeking a Staff Manufacturing Engineer to support new product introduction (NPI) projects over the next 18–24 months. This role will focus on developing, validating, and implementing manufacturing processes from design through production in a regulated medical device environment.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement manufacturing processes, tooling, and fixtures
- Lead process validations (IQ/OQ/PQ) and pFMEA activities
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production teams
- Support product launches and product transfers
- Drive process improvements using Lean/DMAIC principles
- Perform data analysis, capability studies (Cpk), and DOE
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering
- 0–5 years of manufacturing experience (medical device preferred)
- Experience with FDA/QSR/ISO regulations
- CNC machining experience preferred (programming a plus)
