The OpportunityAs an Agitator Driver, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of concrete to our customers. Operating our specialised vehicles called agitators, you will ensure the timely and safe transportation of concrete from our plants to construction sites. This role requires a keen attention to safety, a strong sense of responsibility, and a dedication to delivering exceptional service.
Key responsibilities include:
- Safely operate agitator trucks to deliver concrete to various locations.
- Follow prescribed delivery schedules to ensure timely deliveries to construction sites.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or safety issues.
- Comply with all traffic regulations and maintain a clean driving record.
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, both on the road and at job sites.
- Provide excellent customer service, building positive relationships with clients.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and paperwork.
To excel in this role, the ideal candidate should possess the following skills and experience:
- Valid and clean HR driver's license
- Proven experience as a professional driver with minimum 6-months on road HR experience, ideally with experience (however not essential) in operating agitator trucks
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Physical ability to load and unload concrete as necessary.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage time efficiently.
- A strong commitment to safety and responsible driving practices.
