About
The Role
The Operations Executive will be responsible for managing daily field operations related to vehicle movement, manpower deployment, fuel control, asset tracking, and customer complaint resolution. The role demands strong coordination skills, hands-on operational control, accurate reporting, and effective team handling to ensure smooth and uninterrupted waste collection operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all operational vehicles including duty on/off scheduling
Ensure daily vehicle check sheets and compliance checks
Monitor vehicle breakdowns and coordinate with garage/vendor for repairs
Handle fuel management, fuel logs, and fuel consumption tracking
Control garage operations and vehicle maintenance schedules
Manage ward-level absenteeism and ensure backup arrangements
Ensure proper resource alignment (vehicles, manpower, routes)
Resolve customer/client complaints within defined timelines
Track and manage operational assets
Coordinate with field staff, supervisors, and vendors
Ensure effective communication between field teams and management
Eligibility Criteria
Bachelor's degree (any discipline preferred)
2–3 years of experience in operations, logistics, fleet, or waste management
Experience in managing vehicles and field manpower
Exposure to municipal or urban service operations is an advantage
Technical & Reporting Responsibilities
Maintain Excel sheets and operational trackers
Prepare daily operational reports
Generate daily performance and progress reports
Maintain fuel sheets and asset management records
Update monitoring sheets for vehicles, manpower, and routes
Share MIS reports with internal stakeholders
Skills & Competencies
Strong operational coordination skills
Good command over MS Excel and Google Sheets
Problem-solving and complaint-handling ability
Team handling and field coordination skills
Clear verbal and written communication
Time management and multitasking ability
Basic understanding of fleet and fuel management
Other Requirements
Willingness to work in field-oriented operations
Ability to handle pressure and emergency situations
Flexibility to work extended hours if required
Strong follow-up and ownership mindset
