We are seeking a skilled Logistics Team Leader to oversee day-to-day logistics operations and ensure smooth coordination with the global logistics team. The role involves managing imports, exports, and customs compliance while supervising the local logistics team. The candidate will support documentation accuracy, maintain strong communication with clients and internal stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of shipments. The ideal candidate should have solid experience in logistics coordination, team supervision, and knowledge of Indian customs and international shipping regulations.

Roles And Responsibilities

Coordination with Global Logistics Team
Support the Logistics Coordinator and global team in executing logistics plans and policies.
Provide regular updates and shipment status reports.
Coordinate with other global logistics team members to ensure smooth operations.
Day-to-Day Logistics Operations
Assist in managing imports, exports, and inter-branch shipments.
Plan and monitor shipment schedules to help ensure timely delivery.
Liaise with internal departments, warehouses, and freight partners to ensure smooth cargo movement.
Track shipments, report delays or issues, and help resolve them in a timely manner.
Customs & Compliance Support
Prepare and validate import/export documentation in compliance with Indian
customs regulations.
Ensure adherence to DGFT, GST, and international trade requirements.
Support customs clearance processes in coordination with brokers and authorities.
Team Guidance
Supervise the local logistics team, assign daily tasks, and monitor workflow.
Provide training and guidance to team members on SOPs and operational tasks.
Encourage collaboration with other teams for consistent logistics processes.
Customer Service & Communication
Serve as a point of contact for clients and internal teams regarding shipment updates.
Communicate proactively on shipment status, delays, or issues.
Maintain professional and timely communication, ensuring strong client and stakeholder relationships.
Reporting & Operational Support
Assist in preparing reports on shipment status, delivery performance, and logistics KPIs.
Identify minor process improvements and suggest solutions

Key Skills & Education Required

Any educational background is acceptable, provided the candidate has proven experience in logistics operations.
Minimum 5+ years in logistics coordination, shipping, or supply chain operations.
Prior experience supervising or leading a small team is preferred.
Strong knowledge of Indian customs procedures and international shipping.
Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. What You'll Get Working with LEDFlex:

Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM, 5:00 PM – 2:00 AM with a one-hour lunch break.
