Basketball Coach

Location: Prakāshamnagar

We are looking for a basketball coach responsible for instructing players during practice and games. The responsibilities of a basketball coach include creating strategies for the team, instructing and providing mentorship.

Responsibilities:

• Understanding of the rules and regulations governing the sport

• Familiarity with specific skills and strategies for the sport

• Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop athletes

• Focus on playing fair and adhering to the organisation's code of conduct

• Facilitating dispute resolution within the team structure to improve teamwork

• Communicating with other Coaches, players, parents and organisation members

• Ability to help all players improve through practices and individual coaching

• Creating a safe environment designed to keep athletes healthy and injury-free

Education/

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Previous basketball coaching experience preferred
Experience working with children in a school
Ability to plan engaging activities for elementary school-age children
Must enjoy playing and interacting with children both indoors and outdoors
Ability to multitask, prioritise, and manage time efficiently
Ability to serve as a positive role model and mentor
Must have good communication skills and work well with both children and adults
If played in National/ regionals, it will be an advantage.

Pay:
25000 - 30000 per month + Additional incentive from Academy
