Job Description - SAP SD IS Retail Senior Consultant

The ideal candidate, have a proven track record of implementing and supporting SAP IS Retail Sales & Distribution solutions with excellent knowledge of business processes and best practices in Retail Electronics industry.

As an SAP SD IS Retail consultant, the candidate will be the subject matter expert and in S/4 HANA SD & Retail modules , with in-depth knowledge of OTC , POS Connectivity & eCommerce processes. Will be responsible for understanding business requirements,

documenting requirements and providing solutions.

Objectives of this role

Understanding the current Business Process on SD/IS Retail Module
Responsible for preparing Test Scripts based on Business Process Master List (BPML) for SD/IS Retail Module
Validation of existing SD/Retail masters & preparation of SD master data for Testing
Responsible for Unit Testing & Integration Testing
Responsible for testing & validating the Fiori Apps for SD/Retail Module
Worked closely with OTC/ Point of Sale stakeholders to ensure all OTC/POS/eCommerce related scenarios are tested thoroughly and documented.
Documenting Test results, preparation of User Manual, Issue Logs.
Participate in project meetings and give regular updates to project stakeholders.
Monitoring & Validation of all background Jobs
Resolve issues from stores, DCs, and Service Centres on Sales, Tenders, master data etc
Clear queue failures, stuck IDocs, update stock status errors

Required Skills And Qualifications

Relevant Experience (in Yrs) 10 –12 years as SAP SD IS Retail consultant with:

At least 5 years of SAP SD & 4 Years in SAP IS Retail Experience. Functional experience in Retail operations/processes (Wholesales, POS Sales, Online Sales).

At least 1 end to end ECC, S/4

HANA SAP IS Retail implementation working as SAP IS Retail SD Consultant
Must work on Rollout and Support Projects
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work individually and collaborate with a team.

- Enterprise Structure:
Distribution Chain, Sales office, etc.
Manage all kind of Master Data in SAP Retail. (Site Master, Article Master (Sales View), Business Partner, Customer Article Info Record, LSMW)
Retail Pricing:
Single step, two step, Pricing Work list and Competitor pricing
Price List and Site group.
Manage all type of Promotions and Bonus Buy in SAP Retail.
Manage Merchandise category Hierarchy, Product Hierarchy and Assortment Management in SAP Retail.
Interface knowledge with Point-of-Sale system, Outbound & Inbound interface, eCommerce interface
Should have good knowledge of the following functions of the SD module
Order to Cash Cycle
FSCM - Credit Management
Availability check process
Pricing & Promotions
Bonus Buy
Third Party Order
Sales Contract Management.
Customer Consignment
Vendor consignment
Rebate Management
Good to have Knowledge in S/4 HANA Activate Methodology.
Good to have Knowledge in Vistex Rebate Management
Good to have knowledge in activating the Standard Fiori Apps of SD/IS Retail Transactions.
Certification in SAP Retail /S/4

HANA SD module is added advantage
Working in Retail/Electronics industry is added advantage
