We are seeking a skilled and passionate Commis II
- Continental to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing a variety of continental dishes and will work closely with the senior chefs to deliver exceptional dining experiences.
Responsibilities Prepare and cook a variety of continental dishes as per the restaurant's standards
Assist the senior chefs in the preparation of meals and manage food preparation stations
Ensure proper hygiene and cleanliness of the kitchen and work areas
Monitor food stock levels and assist in inventory management
Participate in menu planning and development under the guidance of senior chefs
Keep up-to-date with the latest culinary trends and techniques
Skills and Qualifications 1-3 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel or restaurant environment
Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Culinary degree or certification from a recognized institution is preferred
Creative and passionate about food preparation and presentation
