Role Description

The Assistant Pastry Chef is a full-time, on-site role located in South Goa. The role involves assisting with the preparation and baking of specialty donuts, ensuring quality and consistency in every batch. Day-to-day tasks include measuring and mixing ingredients, executing recipes, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and collaborating with the team to create innovative and high-quality products. The Assistant Pastry Chef is responsible for upholding The Donut Affair's high standards of taste and presentation.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Bakery and Cooking techniques
Hands-on experience with Baking and Food Preparation
Strong Culinary Skills, including attention to detail and creativity
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
Good understanding of kitchen safety and hygiene practices
Team player with strong organizational and time management skills
Formal training or certifications in culinary arts or pastry is a plus
Previous experience as an Assistant Pastry Chef or in a similar role is advantageous
