Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and innovative  Senior Scientist – Footwear Adhesive  to strengthen our Research & Development team. The role involves developing new adhesive formulations, improving existing products, and supporting manufacturing and technical teams with advanced scientific expertise. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of polymer chemistry and adhesive technologies with hands-on product development experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and formulate new footwear adhesive products aligned with market requirements.
Improve and optimize existing adhesive formulations for better performance, cost efficiency, and sustainability.
Conduct research on raw materials, polymer blends, and advanced adhesive technologies.
Perform laboratory testing, validation, and performance evaluation of adhesive products.
Provide technical support to production, quality, and sales teams.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards.
Maintain proper documentation of R&D trials, formulations, and test reports.
Coordinate with raw material suppliers for product development and improvements.

Qualifications & Skills:

Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Polymer Science, Material Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
5–8 years of experience in the footwear adhesive industry R&D.
Strong knowledge of adhesive chemistries such as water-based, solvent-based, pressure-sensitive, and reactive adhesives.
Hands-on experience in formulation development and lab testing.
Familiarity with regulatory standards such as REACH, RoHS, and other compliance requirements.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
