BIOCHEMIST

Design and conduct experiments to investigate biochemical processes and pathways, including protein structure and function, enzyme kinetics, metabolism, and gene expression regulation.
Perform biochemical analyses and assays, such as chromatography, electrophoresis, spectrophotometry, and mass spectrometry, to characterize biomolecules and study their interactions.
Isolate and purify proteins, nucleic acids, lipids, and other biomolecules from biological samples using various techniques, including centrifugation, chromatography, and electrophoresis.
Develop and optimize experimental protocols and methodologies for biochemical assays and analyses.
Analyze and interpret experimental data, and prepare scientific reports, publications, and presentations to communicate research findings.
Collaborate with other members of the research team, including scientists, technicians, and graduate students, to achieve research objectives and milestones.
Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and facilities, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols.
