Education:

B.E./B.Tech in Plastics, Petrochemical Engineering.
BE /

B. Tech Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering graduates with experience in plastic processing, polymer-based manufacturing, or continuous production environments.

Experience:

Minimum 15 years in manufacturing operations, including at least 5 years in a managerial/leadership role

Age band:  35-40 Years

Candidates should be settled in Bengaluru and should be in a reachable distance with drive of less than 1 hour.

Role Overview :  The  Manager – Operations  will oversee end-to-end plant operations at the non-woven textile facility, ensuring efficient production, quality standards, cost control, and continuous process improvement. The role requires a  technically strong, hands-on leader  experienced in non-woven, plastics, or petrochemical-based manufacturing environments.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead day-to-day  plant operations  including production, maintenance, quality, safety, and logistics.
Ensure achievement of  production targets , adherence to  quality standards , and control of  operating costs .
Drive  operational excellence  through process improvement, productivity enhancement, and cost optimization.
Collaborate with  R&D and Quality teams  to maintain consistency and support new product/process innovations.
Implement  Global Manufacturing Practices (GMP)  to enhance plant performance and efficiency.
Oversee  equipment maintenance , ensuring uptime and reliability.
Manage  workforce planning , training, and performance evaluation of technical and production teams.
Plan and control  inventory, raw material utilization , and  waste reduction .
Coordinate with  supply chain, procurement, and sales  teams to align production with business goals.
Prepare and present  MIS reports, production reviews, and cost analyses  to senior management.
