Spirulina technician

About The Role:

We are looking for an experienced  Spirulina Technician/Expert  to manage day-to-day operations of our spirulina culture ponds and maintain high-quality production. This is a full-time, on-site role suitable for someone passionate about microalgae cultivation and sustainable farming.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily monitoring of spirulina culture (pH, temperature, density, contamination check)
Harvesting, filtration, drying and powder/flakes preparation
Maintaining culture quality and increasing productivity
Handling pond cleaning, sterilisation & inoculation
Managing drying chambers, hygiene protocols & food safety
Recording daily production and coordinating with management
Overseeing workers and ensuring SOPs are followed
Ability to troubleshoot contamination or culture crash

Skills:

Experience in  Spirulina farming or microalgae cultivation  (minimum 6 months preferred)
Knowledge of paddle wheel operation, drying techniques, and culture media
Understanding of food-grade hygiene standards
Ability to work independently and manage multiple ponds
Basic record-keeping skills
