Job Description:
The Material Control specialist will be responsible for managing and overseeing the inventory and distribution of local parts within the domestic market. This role involves coordinating with various departments to ensure that inventory levels are optimal and that materials are secured and available for production needs. The individual will analyze inventory data, forecast material requirements, and implement strategies to improve material flow and reduce waste.
Additionally, the specialist will maintain accurate records of material usage and inventory levels while ensuring compliance with company policies and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage inventory levels for local parts, ensuring sufficient stock to meet production requirements.
- Coordinate with procurement, production, and vendor respresentative to ensure efficient material flow.
- Analyze inventory data to forecast material needs and identify potential shortages or excesses.
- Implement inventory management procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize costs.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory to ensure accuracy and compliance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to manage local parts procurement and maintain relationships.
- Develop reports on inventory performance, material usage, and supply chain efficiency.

- Excellent communication skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams and suppliers.
