Job Description

As a Junior Officer in the Engineering & Services department at Lupin Limited's Pithampur-II facility, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal functioning and maintenance of key utility equipment essential for our manufacturing operations. Your responsibilities will encompass comprehensive electrical maintenance tasks involving high-value assets such as chillers, air compressors, DG sets, boilers, water pretreatment plants, UPS systems, and effluent treatment plants (ETP).

Maintaining these utilities at peak performance is vital to sustaining uninterrupted production and achieving compliance with industry regulations.

You will be expected to exhibit a thorough understanding and hands-on expertise in managing HT and LT electrical panels, circuit breakers, variable frequency drives (VFDs), and transformers. Your technical proficiency will be instrumental in conducting troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and repairs, thereby enhancing equipment reliability and efficiency.

The role requires active participation in the creation and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), conducting preventive maintenance (PM), and ensuring precise calibration of equipment in line with 21-CFR requirements. You will contribute to upholding stringent regulatory standards governing the pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with a focus on engineering systems such as water purification, HVAC, and compressed air networks.

Experience working within USFDA and MHRA approved manufacturing sites is essential, as it equips you with the discipline and rigor required to meet regulatory compliance and quality benchmarks. Additionally, proficiency in SAP systems, including SAP Plant Maintenance (PM), eLog Books, and Quality Assurance Management Systems (QAMS), will empower you to maintain accurate documentation that supports audit readiness and continuous improvement initiatives.

Work Experience

Applicants should possess between 6 to 12 years of progressive experience in electrical maintenance within regulated pharmaceutical or similar manufacturing facilities. Demonstrated expertise in handling utility equipment maintenance and adherence to USFDA and MHRA standards is required to excel in this position.
