Manager - Brewing & Processing

About the Role

To ensure processing of Beer with in Carlsberg specifications, with a focus on reducing the process losses & maximum Utilisation of resources to achieve the Departmental KPI’s with consistent Quality.

Meeting the production Target as per brew plan provided.

Responsibilities

Manage all Brewing activities, track against plans and achieve targeted brewing volume of the right quality within planned costs and as per ABP.
Responsibility for brew planning and control.
Responsibility for control of annual plant budgets related to Brewing.
Manage and provide participative guidance to the Brewing function to ensure good upkeep of all equipment and assets within established standards to assure safeguarding of capital investment.
Manage & Guide the maintenance team and drive implementation of initiatives in plant maintenance to ensure reduction in unplanned downtime.
Direct responsibility for coaching, feedback and development of plant personnel of the department.
Direct responsibility for discipline in the work force.
Direct responsibility for safety of personnel, facilities. Ensure that the operation is run with the highest standards of safety, occupational health and environment protection.
Direct responsibility for allocation of available resources including manpower and achieving the budgeted manpower budget.
Responsibility to implement the safety systems in the brew house, related area.
Responsibility for initiating small group activities and continuous improvements and strive to continuously improve upon productivity standards in material usage and labor hours.
Responsible for the cleanliness of personal work areas.
Adhering to HACCP requirements.
Adhering to Full compliance of state excise requirement in documentation.
Direct responsibility of monthly, annual reporting of the brew house.

Qualifications

Qualifications/ Memberships:

B.Sc. /M.Sc./ Alcohol Tech with 10 to 12yrs Brewing Experience

Required Skills

10-12 Yrs, only from Brewing Industry. Beer flavour evaluation.
