Experience

Required:

2 - 8 Years (JE - SE)

Nature of experience :
.Knowledge of manufacturing process:
Exposure to welding/Casting /Machining/ Sheet metal Parts used in Automobiles.
.Handling Line Quality issues / Inspection of Parts / Quality defect analysis / Process Audit at Supplier end.
.Troubleshooting of Brake related failures and defects [In house and market]
.Line parts quality concern analysis & countermeasure implementation.
.Vendor process audit & improvement action implementation
.Development (Inspection & Evaluation) of Quality parts.
.Working Knowledge of Suspension system parts, Gauges, Jigs, Fixtures, Test Rigs, MIG welding & Spot welding
.Good knowledge of the Production Process (Including Quality controls)
.Industry preference:
Automobile Industry
.(4 wheeler / LCV / 2-Wheeler) & Propriety OEM Suppliers

KRAs:
.Root cause analysis and countermeasure planning:
Brake System parts. (Brake pipes, Brake pedals, Actuator assembly)
.Planning for zero defect production lines setup at Vendors.
.PFMEA and required actions planning with vendors.
.Advance Quality planning for new parts development.
.Capability & Skill development.

Competencies/

Skills:

.Hands on skill for quality evaluation of Brake parts including inspection instruments/welding process/welding tests/End of Lines Tests/Leak testing Equipment / gauges.
.Understanding of Brake parts manufacturing process and best practices.
.Analysis and root cause identification of Quality issues of such parts.
.Knowledge and practical application of Quality Control Tools like APQP, FMEA, Control plan/ SPC, MSA, Six Sigma etc.
.Customer handling for in-house customers.
.Train and develop skill in subordinates.

Must Have:

.Should have knowledge of Sheet metal, welding, casting, Machining and Assembly process.
.Measuring instrument know how (Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, profile projector, CMM)
