Production Supervisor

Location: Mohali

We are seeking a Production Supervisor with a strong sports background (preferably cricket) who understands the technical and performance aspects of cricket bats. The ideal candidate will oversee day-to-day factory operations, ensure production efficiency, maintain quality standards, and manage workforce coordination.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise end-to-end cricket bat production (cleft selection to final finishing)

• Monitor willow grading, moisture control, pressing, shaping, and finishing processes

• Ensure consistent bat profile standards (weight distribution, balance, pickup, sweet spot positioning)

• Manage production planning, daily targets, and workforce allocation

• Maintain strict quality control benchmarks

• Reduce wastage and improve yield efficiency

• Coordinate with procurement for raw material planning

• Maintain machinery upkeep and safety compliance

• Train and guide factory workers on best manufacturing practices

• Work closely with sales/brand team to align production with market demand

Candidate Requirements

Mandatory

• Sports background (Cricket preferred – player, coach, or strong technical understanding)

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in manufacturing supervision (sports goods preferred)

• Understanding of cricket bat specifications and performance parameters

• Strong leadership and workforce management skills

• Basic knowledge of inventory management and production planning

Preferred

• Experience in English Willow processing

• Knowledge of bat pressing techniques and moisture calibration

• Familiarity with international bat quality standards
