Deputy Manager

Location: Nālāgarh

Production Operations:

- Manage day-to-day sterile injectable manufacturing activities including
- SVP/LVP manufacturing
- Compounding and filtration
- Aseptic filling & sealing
- Vial / Ophthalmic / PFS filling operations
- Lyophilizer loading/unloading (if applicable)
- Ensure adherence to batch manufacturing records (BMR/BPR) and production schedules.
- Coordinate with warehouse for timely availability of raw and packing materials.

Aseptic Area & Cleanroom Management

- Ensure compliance with aseptic practices and gowning procedures.
- Monitor cleanroom discipline and environmental control practices.
- Ensure cleaning, sanitization, and line clearance activities are performed effectively.

Documentation & Compliance

- Review and ensure proper completion of
- eBMR/eBPR
- eLogbooks
- Equipment usage records
- Area cleaning records
- Handle deviations, change controls, incidents, and CAPA in coordination with QA.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP, USFDA & EU-GMP standards.

Equipment & Process Handling

- Ensure proper operation and monitoring of critical equipment such as
- Autoclaves
- Depyrogenation tunnel
- Vial washing machine
- Filling machine
- Sterile filtration skids
- LAF / RABS / Isolator systems
- Lyophilizer (if applicable)
- Coordinate with Engineering for breakdown maintenance and preventive maintenance.

Team Management

- Supervise and train operators and production staff.
- Ensure proper manpower allocation and shift planning.
- Conduct on-job training for aseptic operations and GMP behavior.

Production Planning & Target Achievement

- Ensure production targets are achieved with minimum downtime.
- Monitor yield, rejection trends, and productivity improvements.
- Support continuous improvement and cost reduction initiatives.

Audit & Regulatory Support

- Support internal audits, customer audits, and regulatory inspections.
- Provide required documents and respond to audit observations effectively.
