The Shopfloor Operator is responsible for operating machinery, assembling & testing products, and ensuring smooth production processes on the shop floor. This role involves maintaining quality standards, adhering to safety protocols, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
As a Shopfloor Operator , you will also be responsible for:
Operating and monitoring production machines and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Performing assembly, testing, packaging, and material handling tasks as required.
Inspecting products for quality and report any defects or deviations.
Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the work area in compliance with 5S principles.
Following all safety guidelines and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
Recording production data and maintain accurate documentation.
Assisting in troubleshooting minor machine issues and escalate major problems to maintenance.
Supporting continuous improvement activities to enhance productivity and reduce waste.

To be successful in this role you will:
Have a diploma in  Mechanical engineering/ Electrical engineering / Instrumentation engineering
Have  minimum 3-5 years in a manufacturing or production environment .
Have a basic mechanical aptitude and ability to operate machines.
Hae an understanding of safety and quality standards.
Have an ability to read and follow work instructions.
Have a good communication and teamwork skills.
