Responsibilities:

Production Planning:
Develop and manage production plans and schedules to meet customer demand and production goals.
Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and sales teams to align production plans with business objectives and product requirements.
Monitor production schedules and adjust plans as needed to address any changes in demand, production capacity, or supply chain issues.
Production Control:
Oversee the control of production processes, ensuring that production activities are executed according to the established plans and schedules.
Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track production performance, identify bottlenecks, and drive improvements.
Coordinate with manufacturing teams to resolve any production issues, delays, or quality concerns.
Inventory Management:
Manage inventory levels of raw materials, components, and finished goods to support production requirements and minimize excess inventory.
Implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate tracking and optimal inventory levels.
Collaborate with procurement and supply chain teams to ensure timely availability of materials and components.
Resource Allocation:
Raw material Planning, to meet production requirements and optimize efficiency.
Cutting Tools planning as per BOM based on production demands and capacity.
Process Optimization:
Analyze production processes and workflows to identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency gains.
Implement best practices and process improvements to enhance production capabilities and reduce lead times and costs.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies such as Lean and Six Sigma.
Quality Assurance:
Ensure production processes adhere to quality standards and aerospace industry regulations.
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to address any quality issues and implement corrective actions.
Monitor and ensure compliance with quality control procedures and standards.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare and present regular reports on production performance, schedules, and inventory levels to senior management.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date production records, including schedules, inventory, and performance metrics.
Develop and maintain documentation related to production planning and control procedures.
Team Leadership:
Supervise and mentor production planning and control staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high performance.
Set clear objectives, performance goals, and development plans for team members.
Conduct performance reviews and identify training needs to support team growth and development.
Stakeholder

Collaboration:

Work closely with other departments, including engineering, procurement, and sales, to ensure alignment and coordination of production activities.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding production status, updates, and any issues or changes.
