Key Responsibilities:

Supervise day-to-day production activities on the shop floor to meet production schedules.
Ensure machines, tools, and equipment are operated efficiently and maintained as per standards.
Monitor and control process parameters to achieve desired output, quality, and productivity.
Allocate manpower effectively and ensure adherence to work instructions and SOPs.
Maintain strict compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with the Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to resolve production bottlenecks.
Track daily production output, downtime, and rejection rates; prepare and submit reports.
Train and guide shop floor operators/technicians for skill enhancement and process discipline.
Ensure optimum utilization of raw material, minimize wastage, and drive cost-control initiatives.
Support continuous improvement programs such as 5S, Kaizen, Lean, and TPM.

Key Skills &

Competencies:

Strong technical knowledge of mechanical systems, machining, assembly, and plant equipment.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
Good leadership, team management, and problem-solving skills.
Working knowledge of ERP systems and MS Office.
Strong focus on quality, productivity, and process improvement.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications &

Experience:

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (preferred).
2-3years of experience in production supervision
Hands-on experience in handling shop floor operations, manpower management, and process control.
Exposure to ISO standards and audits will be an added advantage.
