Job Context  :

The Company is looking to hire a Maintenance Manager for its plant in Daman. The position will report to the Plant General Manager. The machines facilities at the plant include calendering units, sheet extrusion plants, profile extruders, vacuum/thermoforming machines and injection mould machines.
The maintenance team currently has two mid-level engineers and a team of 15 skilled technicians.
Over the last few years, the maintenance team has incorporated preventive maintenance along with the corrective maintenance functions that happen in every plant. We are now looking to bring a candidate on board that will be able to drive the push towards predictive and risk-based maintenance.

Job Description :
Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance program for all machinery and equipment.
Monitor MTBF and MTTR and drive Operational Efficiency in plant through reduction in breakdown.
Implement Time Based Maintenance and Condition Based Maintenance of equipment and machines.
Engineering audits and health check program in the plant.
Follow effective maintenance scheme with an aim to reduce machine down time.
Making risk and opportunities and drafting an action plan for implementation
Diagnosing faults with proper root cause analysis
Raise Capital expenditure, budgeting and execution of projects.
Maintaining statistical and financial records
Creating maintenance procedures (SOP)
Planning and overseeing scheduled maintenance, breakdowns along with the team
Maintain and update QMS records
Drive innovations and improvements in the factory
Preparation and implementation of technical training programs for workmen and staff
Updating critical spares list time to time
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in maintenance practices, recommending and implementing improvements as appropriate.

Qualifications and skillsets
B.E (Mechanical/Production/Industrial) from a reputed university.
5 to 15 years' experience in roles involving maintenance functions in a manufacturing unit
Strong technical knowledge of plastics manufacturing equipment, machinery and related systems
Skilled in software tools such as MS Office/CAD/Project Management
Excellent leadership and team management skills with ability to motivate and guide a maintenance team effectively
Strong problem solving and decision-making abilities with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving maintenance issues.
Ability to work well under pressure
Effective communication skills to interact with internal stakeholders, equipment suppliers and external service providers.

CTC Salary range :
Rs. 12 to 14 lakhs per annum
