Senior Operator - WTP

Location: Prakāshamnagar

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Operation & Monitoring:
Operate and monitor the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) systems, including pumps, filters, chemical dosing units, and related equipment.
Performance Optimization:
Continuously monitor plant performance parameters (flow rates, pressure, chemical levels, water quality) and make necessary adjustments to optimize treatment processes.
Troubleshooting & Maintenance:
Identify and troubleshoot operational issues, perform routine preventive maintenance on WTP equipment, and assist with corrective maintenance as required.
Chemical Management:
Handle and prepare chemicals safely, ensure correct dosing rates, and monitor chemical inventory levels.
Water Quality Testing:
Conduct regular water quality tests (e.g., pH, turbidity, chlorine residual) and maintain accurate records of results.
Record Keeping:
Maintain detailed logs of plant operations, maintenance activities, chemical consumption, and water quality data.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety protocols, environmental regulations, and operational procedures to ensure a safe working environment and compliance with industry standards.
Reporting:
Prepare and submit regular operational reports to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

Experience:

2-4 years of hands-on experience in operating and maintaining Water Treatment Plants (WTP).
Technical Knowledge:
Solid understanding of water treatment processes, principles, and equipment.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to identify and resolve operational issues efficiently.
Attention to Detail:
Meticulous in monitoring parameters, record-keeping, and adhering to procedures.
Safety Conscious:
Strong commitment to safety practices and procedures.
Communication:
Good verbal and written communication skills.

Education:

ITI / Diploma in relevant engineering discipline (e.g., Chemical, Mechanical) or equivalent practical experience.
