Job Responsibilities :
Source  raw materials and components
∙Obtain and compare  quotations , negotiate prices, terms, and delivery schedules
∙Issue  Purchase Orders (POs)  in line with company policies
∙Work within approved  procurement budgets
∙Maintain strong relationships with  existing suppliers
∙Resolve issues related to  shortages, delays, or quality disputes
∙Identify and develop  alternate suppliers  to reduce risk
∙Coordinate with  production and stores  to avoid  overstocking or stock-outs
∙Ensure accurate procurement documentation:
Purchase

Requisition s (PR)
Purchase Orders (PO)
Delivery Challans
Invoices
∙Support audits by maintaining transparent procurement records
∙Track delivery schedules and follow up with suppliers
∙Communicate procurement status and resolve inter-department issues
∙Coordinate with ERP team for software upgradation and issues.

Qualifications:

Education
∙Bachelor’s degree in:
Supply Chain Management
Business Administration
Commerce
Engineering (preferred in manufacturing setups)
Experience
2–5 years of experience in  procurement or purchasing
Experience in  manufacturing / industrial procurement  is preferred
Familiarity with  ERP systems  – Tally and CREST
Basic understanding of  materials and specifications
