Job Summary
The Senior Manager - MIS & Costing is a critical role responsible for leading the company's Management Information Systems (MIS) and costing functions. This position plays a key role in providing accurate, timely, and insightful financial information to support strategic decision-making, cost control, and operational efficiency across our operations in India. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the manufacturing industry, preferably within the FMCG food sector, with extensive experience in cost accounting, budgeting, financial analysis, and MIS development.
Responsibilities

· Management Information Systems (MIS):
o   Manage and optimize the company's financial information systems across operations in India.
o   Develop and generate regular MIS reports, including consolidated financial statements, key performance indicators (KPIs), and management dashboards.
o   Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and timeliness of financial data from all locations within India.
o   Identify and implement improvements to MIS processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
o   Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure that MIS systems meet the needs of the business.
o   Troubleshoot and resolve complex MIS-related issues.
o   Evaluate and recommend new MIS technologies and solutions for implementation across India.
o   Maintain documentation of MIS processes and procedures.

· Budget Coordination:
o   Coordinate the consolidation of regional and departmental budgets into a company-wide budget for India.
o   Monitor budget performance against actual results, analyze variances, and provide explanations to senior management.
o   Develop and implement budget control procedures.
o   Provide training and support to budget holders across different states.
o   Facilitate the forecasting process, including regular updates and revisions.

· Cost Review (Product-Wise & Plant-Wise):
o   Conduct detailed cost reviews, analyzing product costs and plant-level operating costs across multiple manufacturing facilities in India.
o   Identify areas for cost reduction and efficiency improvements in both product costing and plant operations across India.
o   Prepare reports on cost trends, variances, and opportunities for optimization.
o   Work with production and operations teams to implement cost-saving initiatives.
o   Develop and monitor key cost metrics.
o   Perform cost-benefit analyses of proposed projects and investments.

· Audit Support (Internal & External):
o   Support internal and external audits, including audits of operations in various states, by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
o   Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies across all entities in India.
o   Assist in the development and implementation of audit recommendations.
