Head of Learning and Development

Location: Prakāshamnagar

L&D – Operations Training & Workforce Planning

Design, implement, and manage  continuous training programs  for ground-level operational staff (reception, housekeeping, admin, patient services, etc.) and maintain a  bench resource strategy  to ensure seamless operations during leaves or peak demand.

Key Responsibilities:

Training Needs Analysis:  Collaborate with department heads to identify skill gaps and create role-specific training modules.
Program Design & Delivery:  Develop onboarding and refresher training programs for operational staff across all hospital branches.
Bench Resource Planning:  Maintain surplus staff pool and implement cross-training for flexibility and quick deployment.
Standardization:  Ensure uniform service quality and process adherence across all hospitals.
Technology Integration:  Implement and manage an LMS (Learning Management System) for tracking training progress and compliance.
Performance Monitoring:  Evaluate training effectiveness and resource utilization; report metrics to senior management.
Stakeholder Coordination:  Work closely with HR, Operations, and Department Heads for scheduling and workforce planning.
Required

Qualifications & Skills:

Education:

MBA in HR/Operations or Postgraduate in Organizational Development / L&D specialization.

Experience:

5–8 years in L&D or Operations Training, preferably in healthcare or hospitality.

Skills:

Strong knowledge of training design and adult learning principles
Workforce planning and resource management expertise
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Familiarity with LMS platforms and digital training tools
Preferred Background:
Experience in  hospital operations  or  large-scale service organizations
Exposure to  continuous improvement frameworks  (Lean, Six Sigma)
