Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Procurement & Planning: Responsible for the comprehensive management of Purchase, Vendor Development, and Contract Management for all ongoing and upcoming projects.
Conduct thorough material requirement forecasting and cost analysis to align with project budgets and timelines.
Procure project materials and services cost-effectively, ensuring adherence to budgets and schedules, and maintaining optimal raw material stock availability.
Standardize contracts and establish rate cards where applicable, and consolidate material requirements across projects for optimized ordering and pricing.
Contract Management & Compliance: Review, evaluate, and discuss contract requests, ensuring that all contract drafts accurately represent negotiated business terms.
Verify all contract requests for proper documentation, including official price quotes and necessary approvals for any deviations from standard pricing policies.
Act as a catalyst and facilitator in expediting contract clarifications and obtaining all necessary documentation and approvals, especially during critical periods and for strategic deals.
Ensure the integrity of the Contract Management System through diligent maintenance of workflows and periodic audits of negotiation folders for completeness.
Ensure strict compliance with the document management process for all order-related documents.
Vendor Management & Development: Develop and expand a robust vendor base for all required materials, including but not limited to stones, tiles, marble, mosaics, and precast items.
Benchmark and continually develop vendors to foster innovation and create enhanced value for the customer.
Proactively identify and establish relationships with alternate sources of suppliers, including global vendors, to diversify the supply chain.
Forge new, strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continuously improve pricing and quality of work.
Resolve issues pertaining to material rejection, invoice discrepancies, vendor/contractor grievances, and claims against suppliers.
Operational Excellence & Cost Optimization: Develop and implement new purchasing strategies aimed at achieving ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.
Develop and maintain a robust process/system to monitor and track the quality and timely delivery of materials.
Ensure the consistent supply of raw materials as per the project plan and estimated timelines.
Leverage technology, implement safety measures, and facilitate information sharing to increase productivity and profitability within the procurement function.
Stay updated on new technologies and products in the market to enhance material quality and achieve cost reductions for the company.
Coordination, Control & Reporting: Coordinate effectively with internal stakeholders such as Engineers, Quality Team, Accounts, and Store keepers, as and when required.
Conduct regular monthly audits and surprise inspections on project sites to ensure zero theft and wastage of materials.
Report any irregularities or malpractices observed to the management promptly.

Qualifications:
