About This Role

We're looking for a full-time Senior Product Manager to join our Product team reporting to the Director. This role is a hybrid role based out of our Hyderabad and Bangalore location.

In this role, you'll play a key role in shaping the future of our Customer Success platform by owning the vision, strategy, and execution of your product area. You'll deliver that impact by defining user stories and acceptance criteria, crafting intuitive user experiences, engaging directly with customers, and partnering closely with Design and Engineering to bring the roadmap to life. This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a dynamic, product-focused environment and enjoys working cross-functionally with teams like Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and external customers and partners.

The ideal candidate brings strong skills in product strategy, user experience definition, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You'll Do

Set strategy & roadmap:
Define the roadmap for your product areas collaborating with product leadership and adjacent product teams.
Lead customer discovery:
Run structured discovery with admins, end users, IT, and exec sponsors; translate insights into PRDs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and low-fi wireframes and prototypes.
Deciding what to build:
Work closely with application teams, customers, security, sales, services, customer success, engineering and other cross-functional groups to prioritize new features and functionality based on business objectives and engineering estimates;
Saying No:
Gainsight is in a large market with multiple prospects and customers asking for many things. You'll have to make tough calls in prioritizing and communicating why;
Executing on roadmap:
Collaborate daily with engineering team in a fast-paced Agile/Scrum development process to deliver new features and functionality;
Partner on go-to-market:
Work with Product Marketing and CS on positioning, launches, enablement.

This is not a complete list of responsibilities, and the scope of the role may evolve with the needs of the team and business. This role will require occasional travel for team meetings, training, or company events.

What We're Looking For

3-5+ years of product management and 6-8+ years of overall experience preferably in a B2B SaaS company
Demonstrated success managing a product or major feature from discovery through launch and iteration.
Data-led judgment & bias to action:
You make trade-offs using data, build simple models to clarify decisions, and keep work moving by unblocking dependencies and delivering incremental progress.
Strong customer and stakeholder empathy:
You understand and represent the perspectives of customers, Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Support, Customer Success, and Operations.
Leverage and Prototype with AI daily:
You comfortably use ChatGPT for ideation and drafting, refine AI-generated content, and create quick prototypes or demos using no-code tools.
Modern delivery practices:
Familiar with Agile development and the processes required to ship web, mobile, or AI-driven applications iteratively.
Platform & technical fluency:
Comfortable working with APIs/SDKs, data models, identities/permissions, and integration patterns; you've partnered with engineering to ship both backend capabilities and user-facing features.

Nice-to-have Skills Or Experience

Experience building enterprise security/admin capabilities (RBAC, audit logs, governance) and/or collaborating on compliance initiatives (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and customer security reviews (e.g., questionnaires, audits).
Demonstrated ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams and support cross-functional initiatives.
Customer Success / post-sales domain familiarity; experience with workflows for Customer Success, Renewals, Professional Services, or adjacent revenue teams.
Experience applying AI/LLMs to enterprise product use cases (summaries, recommendations, copilots) with an understanding of safety and evaluation considerations.
Exposure to pricing & packaging, monetization strategies, or commercial experimentation (e.g., packaging APIs/connectors, usage-based models).
