The Role

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Utilities Tester with strong functional knowledge of CCS, CC&B, and C2M, along with hands-on experience in test planning, execution, and automation for Oracle Utilities implementations. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring high-quality delivery across utility billing, metering, and integrations.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles.
Validate functional modules including billing, metering, payments, collections, and integrations.
Perform API testing for REST and SOAP services, along with batch job validations.
Log, track, and manage defects using Jira, ensuring timely resolution and closure.
Collaborate closely with developers and functional SMEs for root cause analysis, fixes, and retesting.
Ensure end-to-end traceability from requirements to test artifacts and maintain test documentation.

Required

Skills & Qualifications

Strong functional knowledge of Oracle Utilities products: CCS, CC&B, and C2M.
Good understanding of the OUAF framework.
Hands-on experience in functional and integration testing.
Proficiency in SQL for data validation and test data preparation.

Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, REST Assured, and Postman.
Understanding of batch processing and basics of performance testing.
Excellent communication, coordination, and defect management skills.
Exposure to Australian or US utilities markets.
Knowledge of OCI / OIC deployment concepts and nuances.
Experience working in global delivery or offshore–onsite models.
