Team Lead, DevOps

Your role , your impact

As a Team Lead, Dev Ops, you'll apply your deep expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, and cloud infrastructure to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of Azure‑based solutions. This role blends hands‑on engineering with team leadership, enabling you to guide a high‑performing Dev Ops team in delivering scalable, secure, and resilient systems. You'll work in a dynamic environment that values innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement, driving excellence across enterprise Dev Ops practices.

Your day-to-day

Design, implement, and maintain automated infrastructure deployments in cloud environments using industry‑standard Dev Ops practices and tool chains;
Manage and deploy Microsoft Azure resources using Azure Dev Ops, ARM templates, and Bicep scripts;
Use configuration management and version control tools, including Git Hub, and manage release pipelines using tools such as VSTS, Artifactory, Git Lab, and Maven;
Develop and maintain automation scripts supporting end‑to‑end deployments across development, QA, and production environments;
Leverage Power Shell to automate infrastructure and operational tasks;
Deploy and support Azure infrastructure components, including virtual machines, networking, and PaaS services;
Implement infrastructure security controls and apply hardening standards to meet compliance and security requirements;
Follow enterprise change management processes, using tools such as Service Now to manage change requests;
Apply strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve deployment and infrastructure issues effectively;
Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for software build, release, and delivery workflows;
Mentor and coach team members to support growth, strengthen capabilities, and enhance overall team performance.

Keys to your success

Degree in computer science or engineering from a recognized post‑secondary institution, with strong academic performance;
Minimum 8 years of relevant professional experience;
Proven experience in managing CI/CD pipelines end‑to‑end;
Hands‑on experience deploying Azure services using code, including virtual machines, networking components, and PaaS resources;
Experience working within enterprise change management frameworks;
Proficiency in Azure Dev Ops, ARM templates, Bicep, and Git Hub;
Demonstrated success in leading and mentoring teams while delivering complex technology projects;
Ability to review, provide feedback, and guide Azure infrastructure design;
Strong ability to work independently while consistently producing high‑quality results.
