HRSD       Quality Assurance (QA)     role requires a blend of general QA expertise, deep Service Now platform knowledge, and specific experience within the Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) module.
Core Responsibilities
Test Planning & Execution:  Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Service Now HRSD modules, including functional, regression, and end-to-end testing.

Module Testing:  Perform validation across key HRSD components such as HR Case Management, Employee Service Center (ESC), Lifecycle Events (onboarding, offboarding, etc.), and Knowledge Management.

Automation:  Create, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using the Service Now Automated Test Framework (ATF).

Defect Management:  Log, track, and manage defects and issues to resolution using tools like Jira or Service Now%27s own defect tracking systems, collaborating closely with developers and business analysts.

Integration Testing:  Validate integrations between Service Now HRSD and external systems such as HR Information Systems (HRIS) (e.g., Workday, SAP Success Factors), Active Directory (AD), and payroll systems using REST/SOAP APIs.

UAT Support:  Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles by assisting business users and ensuring smooth transition to production environments.

Documentation:  Maintain clear and comprehensive test documentation, including test plans, scripts, and test reports.

Collaboration:

Participate in Agile/Scrum development cycles, including requirement reviews, sprint planning, and defect triage meetings, to ensure testability of new features.

Experience:

Experience in a QA role, with significant hands-on experience specifically in testing Service Now applications.

Proven experience testing Service Now HRSD modules and workflows is critical.

Technical

Skills:

Proficiency in using the Service Now  Automated Test Framework (ATF)  is often a mandatory requirement.

Familiarity with Service Now scripting (JavaScript, Glide API, client scripts, business rules) for validation and automation purposes.

Experience with testing methodologies, the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and best practices.

Knowledge of test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium is a plus).

Domain Knowledge:

Strong understanding of HR processes, workflows, and employee service delivery concepts (e.g., onboarding, case management).

Familiarity with HR data models and data privacy principles related to HR information.

Certifications:

Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA)  is often a mandatory qualification.

Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist - HRSD (CIS-HR)  is highly desirable or a significant plus.

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.

Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with diverse stakeholders.

Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced Agile environment.
