About The Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned AWS Data Engineer with at least 3 years of experience to design and

implement a robust data mart layer built on behavioral and transactional data. The ideal candidate

will have a strong background in data modeling, SQL development, and ELT pipelines, with a

proven ability to ensure data quality and deliver scalable solutions for analytical and business

intelligence needs.

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement data models to support analytical and reporting requirements.
Develop and maintain ELT pipelines using AWS services and modern data engineering tools.
Build and optimize data marts for behavioral and transactional datasets.
Ensure data quality and integrity through validation, monitoring, and governance practices.
Perform source-to-target mapping and document data lineage for transparency and compliance.
Collaborate with BI developers and analysts to deliver actionable insights.
Troubleshoot and optimize SQL queries for performance and scalability.

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in AWS-based data engineering.
Strong expertise in SQL and data modeling.
Hands-on experience with Redshift for large-scale data warehousing.
Proficiency in Python for data processing and automation.

Experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration.
Knowledge of DBT for transformation and modeling.
Background in analytical data engineering or BI development preferred.

Preferred Skills

Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
Ability to work in cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.

Experience with data governance and quality frameworks.
