Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Now Developer to join our dynamic Service Now team in Corporate Systems. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in Service Now development.

The role will collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, and implement enhancements to our Service Now instances, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and business processes.

This position is based in our Hyderabad location and we follow a hybrid work policy.

What will you do in this role

Design, code, verify, test, document, amend and refactor moderately complex applications and software configurations for deployment in collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams across various regions worldwide.
Support design, configuration, and development of Service Now applications, modules, flows, and interfaces to meet the organization's ITSM, Service Portal, Virtual Agent requirements.
Support the Service Now platform team and business stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical specifications and functional requirements for Service Now solutions
Collaborate with other teams to integrate Service Now with other IT systems and third-party applications. Manage data migration tasks when required.
Support development of custom reports, performance analytics, and executive dashboards in Service Now to provide real-time insights into service performance and key metrics.
Stay up to date with the latest Service Now features, tools, and best practices.
Conduct thorough testing of Service Now configurations and developments to ensure system stability, reliability, and accuracy. Lead and drive for test automation.
Maintain comprehensive SDLC and technical documentation for all Service Now configurations, customizations, and developments.

What should you have

Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science or any Technology stream.
3+ years of working experience as a Service Now Developer, preferably with ITSM, and/or Employee Portal/Virtual Agent product expertise.
Service Now Certified System Admin (CSA) certification
Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification is highly desirable
Service Now Certified implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is highly desirable.
Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and XML with hands-on experience in Service Now scripting and development.
In-depth knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices for IT Service Management.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to design effective Service Now solutions.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment, effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Understanding of Agile development methodologies is a plus.
