Job Summary
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Service Now Developer with strong expertise in ITSM modules . The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions on the Service Now platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement solutions within the Service Now ITSM suite (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB, Knowledge, Request, Service Catalog).
Develop and customize Service Now applications including forms, workflows, UI policies, business rules, client scripts, ACLs, and integrations .
Lead end-to-end implementation of new modules and enhancements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Implement and maintain MID server integrations , REST/SOAP APIs, and third-party system connections.
Ensure platform stability, performance, and adherence to governance standards.
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide expert-level support.
Conduct code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices.
Manage update sets, migration activities, and platform upgrades.
Maintain documentation for technical designs, configurations, and processes.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of hands-on experience in Service Now development.
Strong knowledge of ITSM processes and frameworks (ITIL preferred) .
Expertise in JavaScript , Glide APIs, Flow Designer, and workflow automation.
Experience working with Service Catalog , Request Fulfillment, and CMDB.
Proven experience in integration development using REST/SOAP, web services, and authentication methods (OAuth, SAML).
Familiarity with Service Now platform upgrades , performance tuning, and security controls.
Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) required;
Preferred Skills
CAD, CIS-ITSM , or additional certifications preferred.
Experience with ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or custom applications is a plus.
Knowledge of scripting frameworks like Angular
JS or Bootstrap.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
